Episode 14: A Look Inside Lindsay Hufford’s Homeschool
It’s time for another snapshot episode featuring one of our cohosts. This week, we hear from Lindsay as Annie interviews her about her homeschool journey.
Lindsay is a wife, mom of three, and small business owner. She homeschools her three children using a relaxed, eclectic approach that uses the best of several philosophies to help create an environment that encourages curiosity. Lindsay’s homeschool revolves around the rhythms of small-scale flower farming and her floral design business. Her family homeschools year-round with lots of breaks for adventures.
When she is not homeschooling, Lindsay is usually spending time with plants. Whether starting seeds or arranging a wedding bouquet, flowers are a huge part of Lindsay’s life. In addition to flower farming, Lindsay and her family love the outdoors and spend lots of time hiking, biking, and exploring. Lindsay also loves reading and writing, whether just in her journal or at websites like The Glorious Table.
Lindsay is passionate about justice, human rights, connection, sobriety, and mental health. She believes in setting a wide table where everyone is welcome and comfort carbs are always on the menu.
We hope you enjoy getting to know Lindsay a little better through this episode.
